Q: What are the signs that my transmission may need repair or service?
A: Abnormal shifting, unusual or grinding noises, inability to move forward or in reverse, a fluid leak, or overall poor performance.
Q: What is the number one cause of transmission failure?
A: Overheating is the number one cause of this type of failure. When working properly, the oil in your transmission keeps the mechanisms lubricated, reducing friction. When the fluid breaks down and loses viscosity due to overheating, it no longer effectively lubricates the transmission. This causes premature and excessive wear and tear, which can result in transmission failure.
Q: How often does my transmission need to be serviced?
A: We recommend consulting your owner’s manual for service interval recommendations; however, we suggest servicing your transmission every 30,000 miles to keep it in tip-top shape.
Q: Does every car get a FREE diagnostic and inspection?
A: Yes! Every vehicle that’s brought in receives a FREE hands-on comprehensive diagnosis and inspection to determine the type of transmission service or repair needed.
Q: Do you offer a warranty with your service? If so, what does that cover?
A: Yes! We offer Extended Nationwide Warranties on all repairs that give you peace of mind for up to 2 years or 24,000 miles.
Q: Will I receive an estimate in writing?
A: Yes! Be sure to ask one of our ASE-certified Master Technicians to draft your estimate in writing, along with explaining what the job details. They’ll be happy to talk you through it.
Q: How much will I expect to pay for transmission repair or service?
A: Since all of our work is uniquely customized to your vehicles’ needs, it’s almost impossible for us to have a base set of prices. Our friendly staff will be sure to detail your transmission’s repair and service costs with you upon request.
Q: Do you offer towing? How much does it cost?
A: We do offer full tow services! If your vehicle is towed in and we’re able to service it, then your tow is 100% FREE!
